Glynn Goff, Manager, says: “Locally, I got into coaching when my son was playing first for Folkestone Invicta then for Hythe Stars and Stripes U18s. I then had a year off and was cajoled back into coaching again when my step son played at U7 for Stars and Stripes – I’ve been with them ever since. I enjoy the fun aspect and seeing the lads come off the pitch with a smile on their faces. It’s very satisfying to see the shy ones coming out of their shells. They all come from different backgrounds, but somehow the football brings them all together and they have mutual respect. Success is only a tiny part of what we aim to achieve. The boys don’t realise that yet, but they will."
